Webmaster

We are recruiting a Webmaster who can design, improve and maintain our web site. We are looking for someone with vision and the ability to execute.

Reporting

The Webmaster will report to the President or to the CTO.

Responsibilities

The Webmaster will be responsible for the following:

• Provide a direction for design of the web site
• Help design automated update procedures for our web site and for other web sites
• Graphic design of the website
• Maintenance of the site, upgrading and updating of all information on the site, maintaining hyperlinks,
• Clearly communicate the strengths of the company's technology and platform as agreed on the web site
• Generate ideas for the use of XBI and/or its clients
• Work creatively in an innovative environment
• Work closely with executive team on corporate strategy and direction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least two (2) years of experience as a webmaster, show that he pays attention to detail, and is willing and able to learn how to manage a web site with innovative emerging technologies. He will have a strong personal presence, and be fearless to champion his opinion and his causes.

He/she will have an understanding of XML, XSL, JavaScript and scaleable web based applications development, and will want to combine his understanding with his experience to build our web site.
